Parliamentary relations between Belarus and Bulgaria are said to be robust

MINSK, October 15 (BelTA) – The House of Representatives held a meeting on October 15 between the Working Group of the National Assembly of Belarus on cooperation with the Bulgarian Parliament and the members of the Bulgarian National Assembly Momchil Ivanov and Hristo Dochev, BelTA has learned.

The meeting was held to develop inter-parliamentary cooperation to foster links in business, culture, education, tourism, etc. “MEPs traditionally take an active part in promoting relations between states and host a Bulgarian delegation,” said Evgeny Zaitsev, member of the working group and member of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives. “Parliamentary relations between Belarus and Bulgaria are right robust and gaining momentum every year. We welcome the development of trade and economies in our countries. This is beneficial and useful for future cooperation. ”

The members of the Bulgarian National Assembly have already visited Brest Oblast. “The aim is to establish economic connections between the regions of the two countries, to get to know the infrastructure of the region, the infrastructure of Belarus, to conclude contracts with small and large companies. Bulgaria, like us, is an agricultural country. So the interests are mutual,” added the MP added. “I am sure that our close relationships and friendships are the key to stability and peace in our countries.”
