MINSK, November 8 (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Chairman of Belarusian State Petrochemical Concern Belneftekhim Andrei Rybakov and Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov on November 8 to hear a report on the performance of the domestic petrochemical complex as BelTA found out.
The head of state outlined a number of issues that needed to be discussed. He emphasized the important role of the petrochemical complex for the domestic economy and regional development.
Alexander Lukashenko asked about the expected budget income, the supply of raw materials, the situation in connection with the sanctions imposed by the West and the business conditions of domestic companies in the Belarusian-Russian state, taking into account a number of agreements with Russia. Progress in the implementation of investment projects was also discussed.
“How is the situation now? What is the state of the budget? How is it here? How is the progress in implementing the plans we have made?” the Belarusian guide asked first of all.
The second point was the supply of raw materials. “What about the oil supply to our refineries, what are the sources of supply? Are there any problems here?” the head of state outlined another topic for discussion.
“Thirdly, it is clear that they want to harm us primarily in the petrochemical sector, the supply and sale of petroleum products. Our foreign so-called partners have not behaved very decently. They have imposed sanctions. What is the situation? Now?” asked the President.
The next item on the agenda was the terms and conditions of the Belarusian and Russian companies: “We still have differences here. The tax maneuver remains. We seem to have made some agreements, but there are still some problems. What is this difference?” in the terms and conditions in the Union state? “
Alexander Lukashenko was also interested in the implementation of investment projects. “We agreed that these investment projects should be completed this year. We need to plan our trips to these refineries to see how these projects are implemented. I am also talking about the project in Grodno Azot [construction of a new nitrogen plant]“Said the head of state.
Andrei Rybakov informed the head of state that all organizations, including those of the Belneftekhim concern, have worked stably this year. “We have secured the growth of industrial production. We do not produce in stock, but export our goods. Inventories have decreased compared to the beginning of this year, ”said Andrei Rybakov.
