Belarusian manufacturers take part in the Rebuild SYRIA Exhibition 2021

MINSK, September 2 (BelTA) – Belarus will participate in the Rebuild SYRIA Exhibition 2021, which opens on September 29 in Damascus, BelTA learned on the BelInterExpo website at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The Rebuild Syria will lead thematic sections: Construction Technologies and Materials; Finishing and decoration products; Kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, water supply technologies; Air conditioning, heating, lighting, power generation and electrical engineering; Oil and gas; Ecology and infrastructure management; Insurance and banking; Communication systems; Information technology and software; Food and drinks.

Rebuild Syria has been taking place in the Syrian capital since 2015. In 2019, it attracted 389 companies from 31 countries and was visited by more than 40,000 people.

This year Belarus will debut Made in Belarus, an exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers organized by Belinterexpo. Participation was confirmed by the Belarusian tractor and bus manufacturers MTZ and MAZ, the Brest electrotechnical plant, the general construction company EAA-Spetsstroy and other companies.

“In addition to personal participation, we offer Belarusian exporters an online format to negotiate with potential business partners without leaving Belarus. Belinterexpo representatives will present the proposals of Belarusian exhibitors to Syrian visitors, demonstrate exhibits and samples. If you are interested in further negotiations, the stand employees will connect Syrian business people to the exhibiting companies via video link in order to enable direct contacts and agreements on cooperation and deliveries, ”said the exhibition company.

Belinterexpo stressed that Syria currently needs to restore its industry, agriculture, construction and services. The country is implementing 115 projects to restore water and electricity supply systems, transport infrastructure, the oil and gas industry and telecommunications. The total cost of the work is estimated at $ 540 billion. The country needs a wide range of materials, services and technologies.

The Made in Belarus exhibition by Belarusian manufacturers at Rebuild SYRIA Exhibition is organized with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in Syria.
